Offshore time

Before the offshore started there was one more inshore race to be sailed. It was the first time for Rikst to be in the pit in this race, because Alex is helming this whole week. Without many problems the team could get a 7th place. For the offshore, which started later that afternoon, almost the whole team was changed. By this the team could get a fresh team to start the long offshore.

The offshore started yesterday in the late afternoon. It will take almost 200 miles to get to Pleneuf val André. Meanwhile the shore team arrived in the evening at Pleneuf. Again they did a good job to be first at the so-called 'Village Assistance' so they could have the best spot on the camp. Today it's just waiting for the boat to arrive, possibly this night of tomorrow morning. But there is now time to do some washing, arrange things for the boat and do some shopping.
